| Willow and Cassie are two loving Podengo dogs who were rescued in July from a hunter in Montemor-o-Novo. In addition to the 70 dogs rescued in May, 5 more dogs were later discovered living alone in the house, in the dark and in utter filth (you can see dog food in the middle of it all). We've already taught these sweethearts to walk on a leash, and despite their initial fear of strangers, they are much more sociable. They love playing with the volunteers they already know, fetching balls, and are very cheerful. They love other dogs and you can see they seek protection from them. They are 7 months old (born February 2026), spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. To adopt them (together or separately) you can send us an email to luckydogsmontemor@gmail.com We can transport them anywhere in the country. It helps us a lot if you share â¤ï¸ |
